騎著鴕鳥的阿吉

    稍微簡介一下這個團Velvet Revolver (以下簡稱VR)，主唱是Stone Temple Pilots的主唱Scott Weiland，吉他手和貝斯手還有鼓手分別是 Slash、Duff McKagan、Matt Sorum，這是讓阿吉會聽這個團的主因，這三位是前Gun & Rose (槍與玫瑰)的團員。最後再加上Dave Kushner，這一位我就不太認識了。換句話說，每一位團員都是大牌到不行啊。


Contraband

    VR在三年前2004年有發行過一張Contraband (違禁品)，這張阿吉兩年前聽覺得還蠻吵的，然後團名饒舌又難唸，因為記不起來所以印象不深。但是一年前聽覺神經染到了重金屬音樂的毒以後，回頭再聽這張反而就順耳多了。當然也有一半是後來才知道 Slash另組團，慕名氣就再拿出來聽。

    阿吉先前是有看過Gun & Rose演唱會VCD，但是Scott Weiland就是不曾接觸，在Youtube上找了一下VR的Live表演。想不到這個主唱在台上，還挺愛表演的嘛，歌聲挺不錯，可是帶個大盤帽在那邊搞怪越看越想笑，大概天才主唱都是這麼特別吧。而且果然是大團，現場功力真的是一極棒。不過在專輯裡主唱聲音好像比較可以飆上去，果然錄音也是讓一張專輯成功的主因。
